From an educated mom of an autistic son, a J.D., I would like to thank this mother for her video. I hope that someday the media will find a better, more intelligent, “celeb mom of autistic child”.

For now, all of us “smart” parents of autistic children can only continue to blog against McCarthy on the net and send Oprah our letters of disapproval.

By the way, isn’t it easy to be a “Warrior Mom” when you’re rich and you don’t really have to work (except for a few tv appearances touting your mother of autistic child experiences)?

Incidentally… not only is normal over-rated but, based on some comments from ‘normal’ folk in Florida (regarding a kid against whom a cop used a taser), I’d go as far as to say that it’s a more pathological state then being autistic.

To the mum who made this video… well done on leaving the mad herd and doing the right thing by your child. He’ll appreciate it. And so do we! Well done!

Yeah and it beats Jenny telling people, “Look how easy it was to fix my kid! (Smile at the camera Evan!) Well actually I busted my behind because I’m a Warrior Mom™and I had to scream at people and use lots of foul language and all, but still it was a piece of cake and if you love your kid, you’ll do it, too. No whining, ladies! Just shut your face and start shopping for gluten-free casein-free pizza. And remember no more vaccines”

Very nice video, although it doesn’t stream in very well. I like this mom’s message. It beats dragging your kid to a Green our Vaccines rally, complete with “my kid is poisoned and his life is ruined” signs.
