About

Left Brain/Right Brain first came into existence in 2003, under the domain kevinleitch.co.uk. Over the years it has changed its basic form a few times but its core content and interest has always been autism and the news, science – and bad science – associated with it.

Kevin Leitch
Kev owns and is Lead Editor for Left Brain/Right Brain. He is a Web Developer, divorced with three children. His middle child is classically autistic (Kanners/Low Functioning are two other medical based descriptions of the category of autism doctors place xyr into). Kev also has two step-daughters of whom one is also autistic. Kev is a member of the The National Autistic Society.

Matt Carey
Matt Carey writes for Left Brain/Right Brain under the pseudonym “Sullivan”. He is an industrial researcher in computer hardware and has an autistic child.

Anthony Cox
Anthony Cox is a UK pharmacist who specialises in drug safety. His interest in autism springs from the attempts to link autism to vaccines. His research interests are in the reporting of adverse drug reactions by healthcare professionals and patients. He also writes at blacktriangle.org. Anthony is Editor for the Science and Vaccines sections

Ken Reibel

He has worked in print journalism and advertising, and has taught college-level communications courses. He and his wife run a corporate communications consulting firm. He also monitors and critiques media coverage of autism at AutismNewsBeat.com. Ken is Editor for the Politics, Legal and Orgs sections.

He speaks and writes on autism and is an active member of the National Autistic Society. Mike is Editor for the Education and News sections.

Left Brain/Right Brain also has several anonymous bloggers and Guest Bloggers we are fortunate enough to have onboard.

We are always looking for new bloggers with an interest in news, science and neurodiversity issues, Particularly from the non-US and non-UK areas of the world. Please contact us if you are interested.
