Project: New Timeline

19 Jan

My current project (see previous posts for details of what the Project is about) is underway with a vengeance!

To that end I’ve implemented a rough timeline to the right-hand nav for this site. It shows the various stages, the date I plan to start/complete them and how many days are left until that particular deadline. I say ‘rough’ because I’ve no doubt things may get brought forward/pushed back depending on that thing called ‘life’ intruding occasionally.

Good stuff, the project I mentioned to you before Christmas kind of came to halt due to Gordon Mac taking some time out.

    Looking foward to it!

No worries John. I didn’t read about your project until too late either! I really must get my priorities right – blogroll first, work second ;o)

I find it always helps to put some concrete plans in place, and timeline is a good place to start. Let me know where and when you want me to fit in…

Don’t know if you noticed my Dec20 ping where I mentioned other projects similar to this. See especially Roger Johansson’s Developing With Web Standards guide. As I mentioned in my post, I look forward to sites like yours coming up with some good overviews of getting started with web standards.

I did see it JJ yes 🙂 thanks for the note. The situations well under way now and I’m still (miraculously!) on target so…so far so good.
