No you haven’t gone mad or landed somewhere else ;o)

I’m taking a new design approach – a bit more minimalist accessible.

This is not the final thing. This is a ‘standard’ template designed by someone else. I#ll be building on this design to make it more mine but it won’t all happen at once. What design bloggers call a ‘live redesign’ in that it is redesigned right before your very eyes!!!!

    OK, I know you designers just LOVE constructive criticism, so first thing I note is the ‘by Kev’ redundancy. Also, your posts are ‘timed’ and not ‘dated’ (although replies are both, a big +!). I know, I know, it’s in the 1.1 release!

    I wasn’t wild about the stinky pinky but I liked the flow of the top ‘people’ banner. It’ll take a while for my eyes to adjust to the double side bar but there again Kristina is ‘guilty’ of the same eye strain and I manage that now.

    BTW, above comment must be spoken in the voice of Mr. Horse from “Ren & Stimpy.” Wrote that in the above post, but it didn’t show up, for some reason. Also said that I was sure I’d get used to the new design.

    Yep, stage 1 will be getting in all the content. Stage 2 tidying up the basics of the current layout. Stage 3 – mkaing it look better.

    The design is entirely not mine :o) I downloaded it as I realised the grey one was horrid. The Quackbusters logo was hand drawn by my lovely wife.

    Kev,

    I’d put the link for adding comments at the bottom of an entry as well as the top.

    So, if you can download a free web theme…and I have done this (on my stealth site)…why can’t Mr. Kirby? I mean, geez, he could have at least paid a high school kid $50 to make a design.
