I’ve been listening on and off and, wow. Not good “wow”. The other kind.

There was a presentation on medicaid. Ari Ne’eman asked a question about what the future looks like for cuts to long term services. Answer: “jaw dropping”.

let me just get this gag off..ah!

Sulliavan according to the Autism Speaks Organisation, Autism has come to the attention of scientists and “more children will be diagnosed with autism this year than with AIDS, diabetes [and] cancer combined”.

As you know Sully it costs about an estimated ammount of thirty billion dollars for autism fundings in Amarica, at the same time Autism receives less than five percent of the research funding of several less prevalent childhood disorders or diseases.

Would it not just be safer, cheaper, and more humane to stop the shots than to continue with this very sick logic of vaccination and then leaving sick children,to suffer, ?

What sort of sick society do we all live in these days that smirks, when a financial cut to sick autistic children is made ?

“Would it not just be safer, cheaper, and more humane to stop the shots than to continue with this very sick logic of vaccination and then leaving sick children,to suffer, ?”

If this had anything to do with autism, then you would have an argument. How about all the vaccines-cause-autism organizations helping out in protecting the rights and services of autistics? They could start by backing a study on prevalence of autism amongst adults (a very difficult study). They could start by doing pretty much anything other than what they are doing.

They have chosen a different path.

      AWOL,

you really are a boring troll. Leave the poor humor behind. Leave the “insert vaccines into discussions where it doesn’t belong” thing behind. Leave the “insert discussion of Brian Deer” thing behind. Leave the “Here’s a link to the Age of Autism blog” thing behind. It’s just tiresome.

@Sullivan: thing is – if AWOL/OQF left out all that stuff – there’d be nothing in his posts… which would make a nice change, no?

It has begun. My CARD center is looking at least 10% funding cuts (perhaps reaching 25%) in the face of ” a continued increase in CARD referrals “.

    We are doomed.
