You know me, I will tell you what I think and why I think it. But there is a line. A few lines in fact. These lines shouldn’t be crossed. Do not attack children. Do not make threats of violence.
In the now infamous EoH, doing these things is seen as ‘venting’. So here’s some venting from EoH for you. I think, as a conversation, it encapsulates exactly why these people need dragging out from under their rock and it encapsulates perfectly the bull that they are not anti-vaccine. Of course they are. They are (some of them) regulars on the AoA blog and stalwart supporters of Jenny McCarthy.

It doesn’t really give a great impression of what’s left of the brain trust of EoH does it? I just checked, and strangely enough there’s not any rebuttal to this flaming nonsense. Somehow I don’t see Mark Blaxill coming back to contribute to EoH anytime soon.
Oh, and Anon, maybe you should read the EoH header: “All postings to this list should be considered public, and not private or confidential statements.” I don’t see anything shitty about pointing out this stupidity.

From what I see up there, that lot are more likely to kill their kids than most people are. Cure by any means possible is what they seem to believe.
Looks like a whole shitload of paranoia and projection to me:

My daughter was vaccinated with MMR, and – yes – she is autistic. I was not (it wasn’t around when I was born) and I am autistic, too. Once more on the vaccine-autism issue: it’s not the fucking vaccines, so grow the fuck up!!!
“Of course, WE will be preoccupied with curing our little ‘canaries in the coalmine.’” I’d be concerned about any parent who referred to their child as a ‘canary in the coalmine’… the purpose of the canary was to keel over (and possibly die) in the presence of toxic gases like methane and carbon monoxide (fire-damp and white-damp, repectively). I certainly wouldn’t use my child as such a thing; she was not born to be an expendible early-warning system!
