Age of Autism have a good old cry on Twitter

22 Feb

Back story: as Sully blogged the other day an American political cartoon strip had a bit of a dig at the anti-vaccine brigade. This provoked the following response from Age of Autism:

Yeah, thats right, Age of Autism truly see themselves as a victimised minority group. No really. They do. They’re putting themselves on the same footing as every Suffragette, every victim of Apartheid, every disabled activist and every poverty stricken member of a developing country thats ever lived.

Age of Autism have a slogan ‘the bull stops here’

and they’re absolutely right – thats exactly where the bull stops. In fact, it not only stops, it takes its slippers off, puts its feet up and stays for ever.

Age of Autism, you really need to get a grip. Maybe a name change might help (click for bigger).

    The “vaccine safety” community, huh?

I have yet to see one thing AoA and their like-minded comrades have done to promote vaccine safety. How many vaccine scientists are on their board again?

    (Psst–you don’t need the apostrophe in “ego’s”.)

Pfft – punctuation hates me 😉

If the fools at AoA are victims of anything, it is their own stupidity, their own lies and the censorship that keeps the world they inhabit on full echo.

I think it was brilliant irony to put the apostrophe in ego’s. They really are “possessed” by their egos. Apostrophe ‘s’ usually indicates possession NOS. Demonic possession fits within that spectrum 😉

“Age of Autism” was obsessed with the protests in Egypt a few weeks ago. Kent Heckenlively compared “Age” and the rest of the Anti-Vaxxer camp to the protestors in Tahrir Square, while Dan Olmsted compared the CDC to the Egyptian police force that tried to quash those protestors. When it comes to nerve, the “Age” loons are never in short supply.

Debastiwn – Is he now comparing himself to Libya’s Kaddafi, who is reportedly besieged somewhere in Tripoli.

TDN yes, what it shows is that AoA’s understanding of politics, current events and human relations is on par with their understanding of science.

What you all miss intentionally with the Egypt et-al sga,is that it`s the internet that done, for EGYPT

Its the same for the Pharma loyal, your done and dusted just a matter of time…and we can wait, you lot cant…just like Kaddafi where are you all going to go when the preverbial brown stuff hits the fan?? the brown stuff is the preverbial in the vaccines that causes death and destruction??

  9. Sebastian Jackson February 22, 2011 at 22:51 #

@AWOL: I’m going to debunk that brown stuff, the same way it has been debunked by legitimate researchers, responsible journalists, and sane people over the last twelve years. And I’m going to give YOU some pointers on how to improve your grammar.

LOL if Egyptians knew what the wide-spread adoption of the anti-vaccine propaganda would do to its people they might gather in Tahrir square to kick them out with other despots that hurt the citizenry.
