Del Bigtree crosses the line: tells Vaxxed audience “Now’s the time” for guns.

19 Jul

Del Bigtree helped Andrew Wakefield produce a faux documentary called Vaxxed. Vaxxed has been discussed here and elsewhere a great deal, but here is a review from Science Based Medicine if you are looking for more details (Andrew Wakefield’s VAXXED: Antivaccine propaganda at its most pernicious).

The team that made Vaxxed has been using the screenings as a platform to give personal appearances. Below is a clip from one of those personal appearances. I would encourage you to watch for yourself:

In case you couldn’t watch or skipped the video, here are the concluding statements of this particular speech by Mr. Bigtree:

“Anyone who believes in the right to bear arms. To stand up against your government. I don’t know what you were saving that gun for then. I don’t know when you planned on using it if they were going to take control of your own body away.

It’s now. Now’s the time.”

We need to stop here and do what neither Polly Tommey nor anyone in that audience had the guts to do: stand up to Del Bigtree and say No! No, this is not the time to use guns.

This is no joking matter. Bigtree’s comments are at best beyond irresponsible and at worst a call for armed violence.

Whatever was in Bigtree’s mind, why didn’t anyone speak out against this? There was nervous laughter when Bigtree made his call to arms so people can’t claim they didn’t hear or didn’t understand what he was suggesting. Here’s the Facebook post with the full video. There are over 1500 comments. And I can’t find one that says, “No, Del, we reject a call to violence.”

I want to keep this short, but I will repeat myself for emphasis: Del Bigtree crossed the line in a big way with his comments. His comments are reprehensible.

But standing by silent while he makes these reprehensible statements is also wrong.

Ironically Del Bigtree’s facebook page has this as the top saved image:

13529029_1095999520470545_3497709959753327622_n

You fans of Del Bigtree, you need to walk the walk. Stop patting yourselves on the back for being “brave” and show that you are indeed brave individuals. Disavow these statements.

Del Bigtree, you need to dial this back. You need to apologize and take back these statements.

Given that it has been shown that violent rhetoric begets violence, Bigtree’s behaviour is reprehensible

    • Jamie Fikes July 21, 2016 at 23:13 #

It’s more reprehensible to post here on behalf of a public relations form that gets paid by Big Pharma, to help protect profits. That puts you lower than the status a diseased racoon with severe hemorrhoids.

Oh, that’s right, you use VaxXed-logic. So that means anyone who disagrees with your brainwashed beliefs is either a pharma shill, or a troll, right? You all sound the same, it’s kind of evident you are brainwashed.

It depends on my e-mail, oddly enough. What does it matter to you, anyway? I can’t agree with you because two names are used? WTF. I’d understand the failed insult from a stupid AVer, but goes to show even pro-vax people are asshats towards each other. Deal with my two usernames – idgaf.

      • wzrd1 August 21, 2016 at 04:54 #

As a guest, don’t you think you should be a good guest and abide by the host’s rules?

      • Michelle August 22, 2016 at 20:16 #

Well which name I use will be none of your concern, then. To get an attitude for something as trivial as something I didn’t even realize was happening is appalling. Done – won’t bother your sensitivities again.

      • Sullivan (Matt Carey) August 22, 2016 at 22:00 #

Actually, as the admin of this site, it is my concern. I have multiple people bombarding the site with toll messages (not you). These people use multiple usernames to avoid banning, and to appear to be part of some sort of movement.

So, yeah, I have a rule that people should pick a single username. Should I not apply the rules to you?

I will add this–You are easily appalled. We have above a post about how Del Bigtree is calling for violence, and you are appalled by being asked to stick to a single username?

      • Chris August 22, 2016 at 22:02 #

Michelle, you can thank the mighty morphing sock puppets for the rules of this blog. Apparently the fellow above you (Jamie Fikes) was also posting under at least three other names on other threads (he is also John Myers here). Another infantile troll was posting obscene comments and pictures under several names, plus he was impersonating other people.

I believe asking you to stick with one ‘nym when you are not well known was not that onerous considering the circumstances.

    • novalox July 22, 2016 at 15:10 #

      @jaime

Ah the Pharma shill gambit, a sure sign that no one with a rational mind should take any of your comments seriously.

You are part of the problem.

  2. cphickie July 19, 2016 at 04:34 #

Inexcusable any time; even more so now. That it bothered no one when he said it tells me I will be seeing Vaxxed in a private setting.

  3. wzrd1 July 19, 2016 at 05:35 #

As far as I’m concerned, he should be behind bars, awaiting trial for sedition.

    • Jamie Fikes July 21, 2016 at 22:43 #

As far as I am concerned, anyone from a public relations firm who posts “hit and run” manipulative statements such as yours, designed specifically to manipulate public opinion, should be behind bars, awaiting trial for sedition.

      • kawaiicupcakes1 August 6, 2016 at 03:20 #

I agree! He’s made a terroristic threat! Isn’t that what ‘band together and use arms against the government’ is? Is that not a terroristic threat, and those who are sympathizers, are they not a danger towards becoming terrorists? These psychos scare me…

      • IοneSkye August 20, 2016 at 06:46 #

Yeah. If I was the DA, this guy would be locked up.

And I would remove the cruel and unusual punishment clause in the Constitution; just for him.

So we can throw water balloons full of pee at him.

      • wzrd1 August 20, 2016 at 07:02 #

Erm, you aren’t emperor, if anyone would be, I would be.*
So, you don’t get to remove any part of the Constitution, 2/3 of Congress can try, with a supermajority of the states then ratifying any amendment repealing the prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment. *That* would remove that provision, not your desire for administering a golden shower.

*My first imperial order would be in regards to the imperial pension, to be paid in imperial dollars.
My second imperial order would be that this nation is not an empire and that the original Constitution is reinstated.
Damned if I know what I’d do for a pension. 😉
I guess I’ll have to stick with my Army retirement pension, Social Insecurity and whatever pension I manage to save up before I finally retire from all employment. 😛

      • Delatrice April 29, 2018 at 18:27 #

James: While I agree with you that it would be nice to see Del Bigtree behind bars because of his lies to manipulate public opinion, even the most vile people (like him and Wakefield) do have the right to lie.

      • Arthur Howard Magnus November 1, 2021 at 21:51 #

Thank you. With people like you on the pro-dead children side, Sullivan and other people who actually care about children’s health are guaranteed victory. Keep up the good work – every lie you tell and every thug you praise convinces another normal person to stay away from you and your filthy ilk.

  4. reissd July 19, 2016 at 06:04 #

As Chris pointed out, especially in these times, and when talking to a crowd of people who are already very angry, this is beyond irresponsible.

    • Sullivan (Matt Carey) July 19, 2016 at 06:29 #

At the screening is this new guy in the faux “vaccine safety” world, James Lyons-Weiler.

Appears he either (a) agrees with Del about bringing out the guns, (b) doesn’t have the guts to stand up in public and disagree with Del or (c) was too clueless to understand the clear statement made by Bigtree.

None of the options paint him in a good light.

    • Jamie Fikes July 21, 2016 at 22:41 #

You’ll attack anyone who challenges Big Pharma’s profits all day long. Never will you go and defend the life of a child. Never ever ever ever ever. Public relations firms don’t do the work that is important.

      • Lawrence July 21, 2016 at 22:43 #

You really don’t know who you are talking to, do you?

      • Sullivan (Matt Carey) July 21, 2016 at 23:13 #

        Or what he’s talking about.

      • kawaiicupcakes1 August 7, 2016 at 01:10 #

But we ARE defending the lives of children, ALL the children! We don’t want children to suffer and die from diseases that we have under control. But thanks to bullcrap like Vaxxed, kids will start dying left, right, and Center. So, it is people like YOU who are endangering the lives of millions of children.

      • Sullivan (Matt Carey) August 7, 2016 at 20:19 #

Wakefield and his team already have their excuses baked in.

When outbreaks happen it isn’t their fault. It isn’t because they lied about vaccine safety and efficacy.

        No it’s someone else’s fault.

Always is with Wakefield. Can’t ever own his mistakes. Never takes responsibility.

        He’s gutless.

      • mofmars333 September 4, 2017 at 20:46 #

Don’t waste too much of your breath here, Jamie. Kudos to you for trying.

It’s always good to challenge the deception in social media & public forum every time it rears its ugly head but this site is a bogus one, run & replied to by bad seeds who know the truth but choose to hold children in pHarm’s way, anyway.

These guys will soon be a thing of the past as they no longer hold power to deceive people. They know their days are numbered.

Truth’s out coming hard at them all no matter how much damage control they work, truth comes shining through these days. Anyone telling it is a target but the table has already turned & we are winning!

Too many of us & too many paying attention for the cover up to continue.

      • Sullivan (Matt Carey) December 6, 2017 at 20:36 #

Oh Marsha. You have always been a mean person.

Are you in this discussion because you really believe, or because you like to be mean? Or both?

Because, you clealy enjoy being abusive to people online. Have been that way for years.

    • IοneSkye August 20, 2016 at 06:41 #

Yeah Dorit, telling people that vaccines are safe is kinda irresponsible.

I would like yo see you take a flu-shot every year!!!

      • wzrd1 August 20, 2016 at 07:16 #

While I’m rather certain that Dorit does get her influenza vaccination every year, I doubt she’d want an audience.
So, I’ll happily stand in for her, you’re welcome to watch me get my influenza vaccine each and every year. Just schedule it with me, we’ll go together.
Hell, if you like seeing injections so much, the next time I get a cortisone shot in my shoulder, you’re welcome to watch that as well. That will be in another couple of months though, had mine on Friday and my shoulder is still a bit angry over that and the orthopedist poking and prodding it. Actually, my shoulder is *extremely* angry over the the entire mess. *
Oh well, at least it isn’t separated, only has stretched ligaments, which PT should help mitigate.

Two wars, decades of military service, I blow a shoulder at home doing a bit of tree pruning! Complacency is the enemy of the most careful of people.

*I’ll not invite you about if I receive the yellow fever vaccine again, I get out of sorts *really* quickly with that, I’d be far from good company that day.
But, as bad as the yellow fever vaccine sucks to receive, it beats the hell out of yellow fever itself!

Hey all, save me a bit of looking, as it’s late right now. Does having hepatitis A as a child give full lifelong immunity or should I get a booster vaccine?
The disease wasn’t fun when I had it as a child, having it as an adult with an enlarged liver from it doesn’t sound like a great path toward a healthy late life…
It’s just that, late night research, coupled with dyslexia that troubles me when fatigued, makes for, erm, challenges in research and I’ll likely forget when I get up in the daily crush of other things that demand immediate attention.

      • mofmars333 September 4, 2017 at 20:49 #

Do you know Dorit admits her family has stock in Glasko Smith Kline? Research her & learn why she works 24/7 backing vaccines.

      • Sullivan (Matt Carey) December 6, 2017 at 20:34 #

        I actually know Dorit.

Have you met her? Didn’t think so.

She is one of the most ethical people I’ve ever known. And if you think she’s getting paid to promote vaccines, you are wrong. Other than this is what she does with her time as an academic. How much stock would she need to make any significant amount of money by promoting the facts about vaccines?

Hint–if she had that much money in stocks, she wouldn’t be spending her time as a professor.

  5. Todd W. July 19, 2016 at 17:44 #

Bigtree’s trying to backtrack his gun statement, while complaining about being edited and taken out of context (irony meter blown). He also makes a very misleading statement about HPV vaccine trials.

    • Sullivan (Matt Carey) July 19, 2016 at 18:09 #

Can’t watch right now. But what context supposedly mitigates the statement?

And the video is not edited. It is start to finish what he said. It is clipped from a longer talk but the context doesn’t change his statement.

It’s not like I took a bunch of audio and cut and spliced and mocked up a phone conversation that never happened.

      • Todd W. July 19, 2016 at 18:11 #

I was wondering the same thing. He doesn’t exactly explain what context makes his comments okay. He does, however, say that he does not own a gun and that he did not mean for people to use violence.

      • Todd W. July 19, 2016 at 18:12 #

He did try to paint it as him talking about gun laws (which he wasn’t, other than to suggest people exercise their rights). Lots of trying to weasel out of what he said, but he does a pretty poor job of it before trying to distract with a more generalized anti-pharmaceutical rant.

      • Todd W. July 19, 2016 at 18:17 #

Oh, and Tommey tries to backtrack her comments about not judging murderers. She says she does not support violence, but she never goes quite to condemning those parents who have murdered or otherwise harmed their children.

      • Sullivan (Matt Carey) July 19, 2016 at 22:49 #

Polly Tommey does a classic straw man.

The question posed to her is extremely clear–why does she say she won’t judge people who murder autistics?

Why won’t she address the question of why that’s bad?

  6. John Myers July 19, 2016 at 23:01 #

Taken out of context. He is making a comparison, not a command. Big Pharma paid-for PR firm trolls fishing for anything they can use against him.

    • Sullivan (Matt Carey) July 19, 2016 at 23:19 #

Your “movement” is constantly claiming you think for yourselves. You educate yourselves. And all you can do is repeat Del Bigtree’s weak excuse for his statement? Plus add a nice dose of unsupported conspiracy theory?

      Here’s the full video.

Tell me what about the context changes what he said.

The audience clearly understood that his statements were inappropriate. The nervous laughter was not enough of a reaction, but a clear reaction.

He is now claiming that he was trying to draw a parallel with gun rights activists. Here’s what he said:

“Anyone who believes in the right to bear arms. To stand up against your government. I don’t know what you were saving that gun for then. I don’t know when you planned on using it if they were going to take control of your own body away.

      It’s now. Now’s the time.”

      Emphasis added.

Mr. Bigtree is guilty of taking his own statement out of context to try to defend himself. He should have just acted like an adult and admitted his statement was clearly bad and moved on. But “be brave” is a slogan for him, not a reality.

      • Jamie Fikes July 21, 2016 at 22:25 #

Your public relations firm will post anything here on behalf of your Big Pharma client. Post whatever you want and claim to be whoever you want. We all already know who you work for. You are a shameless human being, in that you take pay for intentionally manipulating public perception. You are immoral and God-less.

    • cphickie July 19, 2016 at 23:46 #

As a pediatrician, let me say there’s more than enough of you AV creeps calling for blood and violence against us healthcare workers all the time, calling me a “baby-killer”, wanting me jailed and other such rot. And STFU about your stupid “trolls”. I get paid nothing for this–I do it because I’m damn sick and tired of your lousy disease-spreading, uncaring, ignorant, selfish ilk putting my patients at risk for diseases that wouldn’t be here if you gits hadn’t driven down vaccine rates with your lies and scares.

As a Pope and Dalai Lama, a President of three countries, a lawyer, a pediatrician and a rocket scientist, I am qualified by my public relations firm to let the public know that anyone who challenges the Big Pharma profit model is the worst form of human being. Utterly despicable people they are! Oh, the horror and the shame!

AVers always have the same lame-brained insults. They are a group of sheep unable to think for themselves, so every argument, their ‘evidence’ and insults are always the same. AVers are like the Borg in ST, lol!

  7. Safety Pat July 20, 2016 at 00:05 #

Nice reporting, Lefty Righty. I commented out on Facebook. I could not watch the clip. I am asking for someone to report them to the FBI. I do not doubt that what you say is true, that they promote violence. • Sullivan (Matt Carey) July 20, 2016 at 00:27 #

The quote does not make specific threats of violence, so will likely not raise alarms with authorities.

      But it has been reported.

      • Jamie Fikes July 21, 2016 at 22:38 #

Nevermind that violent crime and gun crime is at an all-time historical low in the US. Fact-free living for you, huh? Ruled by the media misinformation lately?

  8. IoneSkye July 20, 2016 at 23:08 #

    LBRB
You have narcissistic disorder, sociopathy and no soul. Inherent in these qualities is the fact that you lie and have no conscience. Please try and see that you and your followers are unconscious. Awaken to love and your fellow sentient beings as opposed to hate. Pretty please!

    • Chris July 20, 2016 at 23:15 #

Why do you think insults are a valid form of discussion? How is Del Bigtree being “loving” when he is advocating gun violence?

      • IoneSkye July 20, 2016 at 23:22 #

These are not insults. Just the facts, ma’ am.
He never advocated for gun violence. Do you know what context means? Look it up. Let’s have love instead of fear. We can all get along if we try. Peace be with you.

      • Sullivan (Matt Carey) July 20, 2016 at 23:39 #

“Do you know what context means?”

Yes. Watch the full video and tell me what in the context changes what he stated. I did that before putting out this video.

You are just repeating Del Bigtree’s excuses.

‘We can all get along if we try. Peace be with you.”

Says the person who starts a conversation with “You have narcissistic disorder, sociopathy and no soul. ”

Do you understand the term “irony”. Look it up.

      • Chris July 20, 2016 at 23:36 #

Hour is “You have narcissistic disorder, sociopathy and no soul.” not a series of insults? If they were facts you would provide verifiable proof. Have you found the definite diagnosis, no you have not because it does not exist. Therefore you are just posting a series of insults.

You might want to check Mr. Bigtree’s quotes again. He is telling people to get their guns, by definition that is inciting violence.

Mr. Bigtree also described our children as being like dogs and chimps:

Autistic children are like chimps and dogs, don’t you know?

I do not think that is very loving. Do you think any of your children are the equivalent of dogs? I hope not.

      • Jamie Fikes July 21, 2016 at 23:08 #

Why do you think posting on behalf of a paid-for public relations firm is a valid discussion?

      • Chris July 21, 2016 at 23:18 #

        Prove it, Jamie Fikes.

At this point you are just making stuff up as part of one of lamest anti-vax tropes ever used: The Pharma Shill Gambit.

Try something new and exciting! Like actual evidence and data, not just a bunch of really lame lies.

  9. IoneSkye July 20, 2016 at 23:49 #

Wake up! You are unconscious. Like most of us. If you just open your heart you will see that all the rhetoric your are espousing is a moot point. Those of us that are operating out of our heart want what is best for humanity. It may be you and me! The people that you are afraid of ARE YOU! These folks that LBRB spend hours on in an attempt to prove bizarre are just people who are concerned about injecting biological toxoids into one’s bloodstream. Is that such a bad deal? Why not get all your facts straight and keep in the back of your mind that if you go within and find your heart center you will arrive at the possibility that we are all connected. We DO NOT have to cast aspersions. My previous comments were only based from a professional view. I don’t find joy in exposing that you and your ilk are unconscious and bear many self confessed idiopathic disorders. But things aren’t what they seem. Open your mind. More importantly, open your heart. It’s all a dream.

    • Sullivan (Matt Carey) July 20, 2016 at 23:59 #

“Watch the full video and tell me what in the context changes what he stated.”

I made this request and I meant it. Your next comment approved will address it.

IoneSky wrote: “You have narcissistic disorder, sociopathy and no soul. Inherent in these qualities is the fact that you lie and have no conscience.” She also wrote: “My previous comments were only based from a professional view.”

Since no reputable professional who is qualified to make such diagnoses would do so over the internet, may I inquire how you formed your “professional view”? Honestly, being, say, an actress with no scientific or medical training who formed her anti-science “view” as a patient of an anti-vaccine pediatrician doesn’t really mean much in a “professional” context.

    • Narad July 21, 2016 at 17:32 #

    • elevatingenergy July 23, 2016 at 10:47 #

Why don’t you wake up yourself and start treating others with dignity and respect instead of thinking of yourself as so holy and others as sheep? Stop being a dick and start using some real arguments. The only thing you’ve accomplished here is a slew of ad hominem attacks and it implies you don’t have any real arguments.

      • Sullivan (Matt Carey) July 23, 2016 at 17:26 #

        Interesting attack.

Do you agree with Del Bigtree’s statements above?

Am I “a dick” for distancing myself from someone who says that now is the time for guns? Is that not a real argument?

Please look up the definition of “ad hominem” as you don’t understand it.

      • Chris July 23, 2016 at 19:09 #

This is really not a good time to bring up the subject of guns when discussing our autistic children. Last week a behavioral therapist was shot while trying to calm down a young man from a group home.

The new story is that the cop missed, since he thought the toy truck was a gun and was aiming at the young man who was sitting cross legged in the street. Even though they were told by many that he was autistic and not armed. That cop has been suspended.

We really do not need people like Bigtree turning our children into targets.

      • Chris July 25, 2016 at 15:50 #

How were we supposed to know that? The threading did not easily show that, perhaps if you had addressed her by name.

But thank you for your intent.

      • wzrd1 August 20, 2016 at 11:55 #

Under the Nirvana fallacy, I insist that, if we abandon vaccines, we also abandon *all* medicine, all physicians offices are closed, all hospitals are closed, no ambulances are needed, all fire departments are closed, all police departments are closed, all water departments are closed, all sewage departments are closed, continue on, ad absurdium.
Since nothing is 100%, nothing is permitted.
As life isn’t 100%, all life should also be terminated.
        Under the Nirvana fallacy.

Here’s the fun part. I’m willing to play that fallacy to the very bitter end. Who wants to play it with me?
I and my wife are chronic pain patients, our pains are quite literally untreatable, so we have nothing whatsoever to lose.
Playing against such persons, we’re willing to play a survival game, as we have less than nothing to lose, beyond more pain.
So, Nirvana it is, no medical anything whatsoever is allowed in your new world. After all, consensus is the rule and the various alternative medical methods really, at the end, do not admit challengers.

So, now that humanity is near extinction, how does the species survive the new polio onslaught?
Or did you kill our grandchildren alongside your own dead families?

Hyperbole? Not at all, I’m merely expressing the idiocy, then logically expanding upon it, realistically.
Hyperbole would be to explain precisely how, where and when I’d place my old, well used fighting knife into a specific part of a specific body and what I’d do once it was inserted.
I only mention that out of consideration of my hyperthyroidism.
Usually, I’d remain silent, do my duty, move forward without comment, merely a contact report.

So, yeah, there are people with more problems than you have. Some of us aren’t really nice people, despite our best efforts.

On another note…if anyone actually watched the documentary you would know that it is not anti-vax. But hey why educate yourselves. It’s much easier to put the blinders on and pretend vaccine injuries don’t exist and our children aren’t at risk. God forbid your child EVER is damaged because of a vaccine. Stop being defensive and ignorant and open you mind to current research(or lack of). If medicine never accepted we have been wrong in the past, modern medicine would never have advanced as far as we have come in the last 100 years.

    • wzrd1 August 3, 2016 at 07:19 #

I wouldn’t watch that movie, even at gunpoint.
As for medicine’s advances, those occurred because modern medicine is evidence based. You know, studies, experiments, peer review of one’s results, peer replication of one’s results.
But then, whenever I’ve heard or read someone using the phrase “vaccine damaged”, I know that that individual is an evidence free individual and that facts are meaningless to them.

    • Chris August 4, 2016 at 14:51 #

“It’s much easier to put the blinders on and pretend vaccine injuries don’t exist and our children aren’t at risk.”

Since my son was injured by an actual disease/b>, your statement means nothing unless you bring some actual evidence that these “vaccine injuries” are more frequent and worse than the very real injuries from the diseases. Dr. Carey has seen the film, and at no time do they explain the very real injuries from measles like pneumonia, encephalitis, the immune system being impaired for years and death (including the long lingering death from SSPE).

    • Sullivan (Matt Carey) August 6, 2016 at 17:55 #

      I did watch it.

Nice thing about a recording is you can stop and check the facts. “Educate yourself”

Did you do that? Check facts? Or are you the one with “blinders on”?

Modern medicine wouldn’t have advanced at all if we relied on Andrew Wakefield and people like him.

      • Michelle August 7, 2016 at 01:02 #

        I second Matt Carey!

      • Andrew January 26, 2018 at 04:40 #

What facts Sullivan. Post them. Andrew Wakefield is a HERO. Professor John Walker Smith is the most respected and top gastroenterologist in the world. Do you honestly believe that he (on his way to retirement) along with 11 other scientists would not scrutinize the paper before signing their names to it? Do you honestly believe Prof John Walker Smith would allow his reputation to be sullied at the pivotal moment where he walks off into the sunset after an illustrious career. Are you MAD?

Wakefield brought up the fact that the MMR was problematic and that the SINGLE MEASLES SINGLE MUMPS AND SINGLE RUBELLA vaccines should be made available as a choice for parents. HE WAS NOT AGAINST VACCINES!!! Get that straight and through your thick skulls. He wrote a letter of recommendation and they wrote back saying it would ruin their MMR program.

You keep talking about Wakefield and throwing out unsubstantiated sound bites.

HE DID NOT HAVE A PATENT OR WAS DEVELOPING HIS OWN VACCINE!!. He had found a component in BREAST MILK, that was a potential therapeutic agent against Crohn’s disease. Correct me if I’m wrong. Brian Deer is the SCUMBAG co-opted by the GMC to bring him down because of his stance on the MMR, NOT on VACCINES as a whole.

You should actually listen to what Wakefield has to say instead of parroting bullshit.

      • Sullivan (Matt Carey) April 1, 2018 at 18:28 #

Wakefield is a scammer. A charlatan. A fraud. Charlatans always have some people who think they are “heroes”. Otherwise they don’t make money.

“Professor John Walker Smith is the most respected and top gastroenterologist in the world.”

Debatable. But since he’s so important to you, you should be aware that he’s stated that Wakefield was wrong.

“HE DID NOT HAVE A PATENT OR WAS DEVELOPING HIS OWN VACCINE!!”

Sure he did. Search patents.google.com for Andrew Jeremy Wakefield. Read the transcripts of the GMC hearing where it came out that Wakefield had business plans to develop his invention.

“You should actually listen to what Wakefield has to say instead of parroting bullshit.”

        I have. Why haven’t you?

      • wzrd1 April 2, 2018 at 15:14 #

This, from the southern end of a northbound bull…

  11. jc August 23, 2016 at 21:07 #

Wow. It’s so obvious a bad thing vaccines for the sole reason of how immature and obvious these authors of this piece are paid by pharma totry to debunk the truth. Hmmmm.. I’m going to check into it a little bit deeper just for that reason

    • Sullivan (Matt Carey) August 23, 2016 at 22:27 #

please tell me where I can pick up this check you claim I am getting, please.

Perhaps you should look a little deeper in the facts here before moving on, eh? But that’s not the point, is it? Your comment is just a transparent slam. Perhaps you should grow up a bit before calling out others for being “immature”.

    • Sullivan (Matt Carey) August 23, 2016 at 22:28 #

Now that that part is over–Del Bigtree told people to consider using guns to settle this issue. Do you stand apart from that statement? Or are you only here for a drive-by comment?

      • Kathy Young August 31, 2016 at 06:41 #

LOVE Del Bigtree, Dr. Wakefield and Polly Tommey. Thank you so much for everything that you have given up and all of your hard work. The CDC LIED to us about the results of their OWN MMR study. Did you know? There IS a link between autism and the MMR and the CDC lied to us. HORRIBLE, CRIMINAL. Thank you VAXXED for telling the TRUTH. 🙂

      • Sullivan (Matt Carey) September 2, 2016 at 07:03 #

Del Bigtree says “now is the time for guns”

Kathy Young responds to that with “LOVE Del Bigtree”.

      • wzrd1 September 2, 2016 at 14:15 #

Well, nothing says love of Jesus and love like being a proponent of premeditated murder.

  12. Katrina October 30, 2017 at 16:17 #

You think it’s OK to threaten and assault healthcare workers? You think Mr. Bigtree’s behavior at encouraging violence is OK? Nobody sees ANYTHING wrong with this? He needs to apologize for encouraging this behavior and saying things like that. That’s just terrible.

    • Dorit Rubinstein Reiss December 6, 2017 at 20:21 #

This article is all about criticizing Mr. Bigtree’s comments and saying they’re not okay. You may be responding to a specific commenter, and not the article, but that’s unclear from your comment?
